What is Tyvek®

Created by Dupont, it is a tough non-toxic water resistant fibre made from polyethelene. It is a great material for wristbands as it is stretch resistant and can't be transferred from person to person. Our Tyvek® wristbands are available in two widths 18mm and 25mm in both plain colours and patterns. Tyvek® can be printed with your message logo for additional security, and is supplemented by a tamper evident adhesive security seal, designed to shred when removed.

Which wristband do I use?

That depends on your intended use and we suggest you speak with our customer service if you are in any doubt. All wristbands are tough enough for a few days use, as a rule of thumb, Tyvek® will not look as good as Ideal, Access or woven bands after a few days. Tyvek® is the most popular style but our Ideal and Access are better for longer-term use. Many factors must be considered, security, appearance, entry costs etc.

Which wristband is most secure?

We suggest a wristband with a plastic clip fastener. All styles of wristbands are designed to be non-stretch and non-transferable.

What is the difference between Ideal and Access wristbands?

These are plastic wristbands. Both look similar but are made from different materials. Ideal is a larger wristband made from tri-laminate material while Access is made from PVC. Both styles are long wearing, with Ideal being lighter with more print space and is less 'stiff' than the Access band. Ideal also has a fastener requiring less pressure to close, a consideration when a large quantity is being applied. Ideal is the more popular. Both styles are waterproof with a single use fastener designed to snap and break if tampered with.

Can I print my message on a wristband?

Yes, all wristbands can be imprinted with your message logo.

Printing prices are quantity related and will incur an artwork fee if artwork is not received in the required format and a plate/stencil charge also applies.

Note, we have a number of generic designs imprinted on our Tyvek® wristbands that may suit your situation and they are supplied at our standard price. Any variations required by you would be treated as new artwork with the subsequent costs.

How fast can you print my message?

Allow 14 days for printing for all bands. We send you an Artwork Approval Form with a layout of your message/logo to sign off on before any print production commences.

Do you send samples?

Yes, we do. Only of our standard styles and only those without a specialised imprint.

We recognise that fraud may be an issue and sample bands may be marked as such or altered in some way, so that they may not be used to gain illegal access to an event.

Must I order a full box if I do not need that many wristbands?

No, we do supply less than the box quantity (applies to orders in Australia only).

Tyvek® can be supplied in lots of 100. If you only require say 500 Tyvek® wristbands, we could supply say 200 X Red, 100 X Blue and 200 X Green = 500 wristbands.

Ideal Wide and Access wristbands can be supplied in lots of 20 and the colours mixed. If you need 300 wristbands you could have say 80 X Yellow, 120 X Blue and 100 x Red = 300 wristbands.

Can I mix colours in my order?

Yes, see the example above. Just remember Tyvek® must be in lots of 100 only. Ideal Wide and Access must be in lots of 20.
