Recently we received a brief to ensure patrons security wristbands be waterproof & able to remain immersed in chlorinated water for at least a 12 hour period. The material to be used for the wristbands could not be torn, would not stretch, should be lightweight, soft & smooth so there would be no irritation or snagging of skin or clothes when warn by waterpark guests.

Additionally, the wristbands must be easy to apply, be comfortable & adjust to any size wrist. The wristband should also contribute to the promotion of the waterparks brand & it’s fun image, but it didn’t stop there the wristband was also to contribute to the waterparks security processes, crowd identification & access control procedures.
