Artwork - Wristband Specifications
Simply email us your logo or art files. We'll handle it from there. Our skilled graphic artists will catch unforeseen problems, make recommendations, and review your artwork and lay it out for you on a paper proof. However, an Artwork Approval will be supplied via fax/email prior to commencement of order. THIS MUST BE SIGNED AND RETURNED FOR ORDER TO COMMENCE.
Please note: WE DO NOT SUPPLY A PRINTED WRISTBAND SAMPLE FOR APPROVAL.
What if I dont have artwork?
If you don't have artwork, it's not a problem. Sketch out or send us a file describing what you're looking for and the font you want and we'll help you out. We will do simple typesetting of your name and message at a small charge. If you can't find a font that you like, just tell us the name or describe it and we'll try to locate it for you. If we need to recreate your art, the charge is typically $75 per hour, if you need it in a rush it is $100 per hour.
If you can't find an acceptable electronic file that meets our requirements, you might consider asking the person who originally created your logo for a vector file and have it emailed to us.
What if I want a specific colour match imprinted?
Many of our imprinting methods allow for the opportunity to closely match imprint colour to a specific requirement. Customers who require specific colour matching should provide us with "PMS" colour numbers where applicable. PMS stands for Pantone Matching System®. For more information on the Pantone Matching System you can download our Pantone Colour Chart that you can use to compare colours relative to themselves. Be aware that all monitors are different and the colour you see on the screen will surely be different when viewed in person.
What graphic file type should I send you?
The following artworks specs are required for all printing on wristbands. An excess artwork fee of $75.00 will be charged if artwork is not supplied according to the requirements below:
- All files are to be supplied in Illustrator EPS - Outlines - Version 10 or lower. (This is strictly a vector file format - not bitmap) - NO GRADIENTS. In regards to printing on Ideal Band, Ideal Band Wide, Ultra-Tag, Access Band, Access Band Long, Cash-Tag, Silicone Bands and colour printing on Tuff Bands, no other file format can be accepted.
- Any text should be no less than 8pts.
- For Tuff Bands, JPEG, BITMAP, PCX and TIFF are acceptable set at 300 dpi. GREY SCALE ONLY.
REMEMBER:
- NO WEB IMAGES - This causes 'pixelation'
- NO GRADIENTS - Excluding printing on Tuff Bands
- BLACK & WHITE LINEAR ART ONLY
